Biotechnology and Recombinant DNA

About The Book

Recombinant DNA and Biotechnology is meant to attract a worldwide showing crowd and will enable all educators to train a reasonable measure of nuclear science and genetic engineering to students. It is the insertion of a specific fragment of foreign DNA into a cell, via an appropriate vector, in such a way that the inserted DNA replicates autonomously and is passed on to the progeny during cell division. After their characterisation and validation, DNA-containing transformed cells can be exploited commercially for the synthesis of valuable chemicals such as insulin, interferon, growth hormones, etc. Recombinant DNA and Biotechnology: A Guide for Everyone will enable students to learn the fundamental standards, fundamental lab activities, and major societal issues and worries pertinent to today's subatomic science rebellion.
