Functional Immunology and Biochemistry/ Biochemistry and Applied Immunology

About The Book

Immunology is a rapidly growing topic, and every effort has been made to keep this work as current as possible to meet the needs of students and researchers in the field. Immunology is the study of how the immune system protects the body from disease. It helps us comprehend how the immune system is fooled into attacking its own tissue, resulting in disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, and allergies. Immunodeficiency problems result in infections that develop and recur more frequently, are more severe, and persist longer than normal. Biochemistry is the study of the molecular functioning of cells. Understanding the molecular basis of life and its involvement in the illness process is dependent on biochemistry and the related discipline of molecular biology. Biochemistry is the study of the molecular basis of living things. Throughout the history of this scientific field, biochemists have endeavoured to uncover the fundamental chemical and physical principles underlying biological activities; their success is evidenced by the significant impact the biochemical method has had on the life sciences. For the purpose of preparing students for their courses, this book examines the fundamentals of immunology and biochemistry, gives basic concepts by isolating the essential material on immunology, and presents it in a short, uncluttered way.
